Additional Details:
Pens get younger and cheaper. Montour can replace Schultz and would look good with POJ. Casey is a talented reclamation project with a higher ceiling potential than McCann.

Additional Details:
Sabres get a veteran guy on the left side + McCann can slot in at the 3C.

SIIIICCKKK another 3C for sabres. We have plenty of those. Looking for a 2C until Cozens is ready for that role

Cozens, Larsson, Johansson, Girgensons, Mitts, Dea.. all players except for Cozens, that wont play any higher than 3C but can compete for bottom 6 Center.

Dumoulin is a legitimate, reliable, top pair defensive guy (defensive, as in not offensive like Letang, etc), on a good contract ($4.1Mx3). He is not a #1 guy, but at $4.1M he is a keeper unless a major piece comes back the other way. It's not just what he is on the ice, but his contract too.

Would much rather have Cozens playing with Skinner on the second line than on the 3rd line.

Outside of Cozens, none of them are 3Cs right now. Larsson + Girgs are our 4th liners. Johnasson is a winger who's playing out of position at center, and wouldn't want him there again. Mitts maybe can become a 3C, but is still in the AHL. Dea is an AHLer who won't even be on the main roster. Pekar is about 3 years away. Asplund might become a 3C, but is still probably a year or 2 away.

Well Mitts gets traded in this ACGM. But McCann would serve better as a winger anyway.

you're right but my point is that we all have centers that are capable of playing bottom 6. Are they good is a total different question. My point is that we are still lacking a 2C i would really prefer not to put Cozens there and expect tremendous numbers.
