I don't think the Isles would move him this offseason, maybe next if Wilde is ready for NHL minutes. At least MDC is an ELC guy you could put in if necessary. Not to mention saving $2.7M in cap. Sign a defenseman. Lol.

Brassard will be re-signed as Trotz likes him on the W, and has been good with Pageau. That leaves 1 roster spot for Koivula, Wahlstrom, and Bellows to fight for and I think Wahlstrom wins and Bellows is traded to move a contract. Next years roster:

I think you're mostly right, just messing around a bit here. I think Bellows needs to be used to move Boychuk (or both Leo - I don't think is LTIR bound - and Hickey). That would be ideal

Mayfield isn't worth getting. He's a slow stay at home guy that works in the Isles do nothing except stay in front of your own net system.

You need to stop. You keep repeating this but it's not true, watch him play before you talk. He is not slow, he's not fast, he is average, he can move the puck. He is generally a stay at home defenseman but can do more.

Lol like when Komisarek was the it girl. Mayfield is a depth defenceman and no more.
