- BUF fans most likely decline, they want defence
- Myers demands more cash if he signs that long, maybe cut the term in half and it works

Truthfully the big thing this summer will be trading JVR and adding a RHD to replace Braun (Hell, I'm not against just bringing Braun back if he wanted). I thought Mountor would be serviceable enough and Buffalo could take advantage of adding g a top 6 forward/some decent picks

BUF has 5 RHD that can play in the NHL next year. PHI would take to take back Marcus Johansson because you wouldn’t want either of them playing on the 4th line.

I think Buffalo would benefit from gaining a solid defenceman, perhaps a Myers or Sanheim, but doubt PHI would offer either of them unless something really good was coming back.

Buffalo doesn’t need JVR, they already have more LW than they can use. That just looks like a bad deal for Buffalo. They would move one RD, and they could use a LD. Center is the real need though. Scott Laughton would be of interest.

I don't know if Matthew Strome is any good but maybe we could get all the Stromes I've seen the other two Stromes mentioned in Sabre trades.

I think it goes 2c, 2rw, 3rd pair lhd, various other depth forward spots. Areas of least concern are left wing, right d, and goal. You could talk me into a rhd depending on value and what we can get for whatever we move out, but i dont wanna turn the fire up on the new gm by acquiring players that would immediately require additional moves. That would be trouble

Give me Copp for a 2C role that might be cheap and he can move to 3c role when Cozens is ready to take that load. I feel like we can fill in the rest of the lineup from there.
