Normally I'd argue Killorn is worth a 2nd and a 3rd, but this is an early 2nd-round pick.

I think one of three things happens with Sergachev:
    a) Offer-sheeted. If it's by CHI or WSH I'm throwing my monitor out the window.
    b) Traded for picks or prospects.
    c) Traded as a sweetener to dump Gourde. This would especially hurt because I still believe in Gourde. He's not that far removed from his 60-point season, and he's just been limited by playing in the bottom-6.

I wouldn't be surprised to see DET end up with him somehow, so I chose them.

Gourde was solid against CBJ imo. I think TB should sit down Johnson, Killorn, Palat and try to convince them to agree to trades. if so, they'd be completely fine. Wishful thinking tho.

Well done. I think your asking prices are reasonable. Signings look good. The last one is too tough to predict exactly how will pan out so I really respect how you displayed that. Excellent work here

Thanks. I tried to be as non-biased and realistic as possible.
Teams usually don't trade away three of their middle-six forwards in one summer.

As a Detroit fan I would happily take Gourde if he came with Sergachev. That being said at this point I'm pretty sure next season is the farthest thing from the players and coaches minds right now.

I think the Sabres accept this trade and are very glad to do it. The only issue is they really need a right wing instead of another left wing.

Gourde has risen from the ashes.... He has a jump back in his step. Playing C w Goodrow and Coleman a vry smart move. I think he will continue and a team will find value taking him for a small return. I do not see Stephens. He has been very solid, Cooper trusting him in pressure circumstances. He is very sound defensively, very fast. I'd plug him in at a center position.

You can replace Rinaldo with Stephens.

I will be extremely disappointed if they help a division rival out. By taking there over priced ageing JUNK!

Killorn is not junk. He’s one of the most valuable players they have. I think they would rather lose some of the skill they have over him. The fact he does not have a no trade clause forces their hand. His deal is not too expensive or long, he can score 20 goals a year for the rest of the deal. His experience and leadership makes him invaluable to a team trying to make the playoffs. Or a team already there making a Cup push (so I think contenders would be trying to get him first). Paquette is cheap, works hard, and kills penalties well. If he wins face offs that helps too.

Killorn was on pace for 31 goals this year, and he's only 30. How is he aging or overpriced?

31 in a month and this was a career year.
Don’t think it’s repeatable. (Just a slightly better Vessey or Sheary)
Would be insane to keep repeating this and expecting different results.
All assets and cap need to be towards a legit 2C
