Interesting trade. On paper, this makes total sense for both teams. In reality, though, the Devils and Devils fans love Hughes and still think he could become an elite player in the league. It would also probably not go well with Devils fans if P.K. left. Although he is way overpaid, his personality is magnetic and he shines a light on a team that is otherwise almost irrelevant.

Nor would they want Marincin or Rosen, but then again Toronto wouldn't want Subban either
