Nashville already pretty stacked on defense, why use up 9 mil more for Pietro? Use that on offense for a winger.

The kid had a sophomore slump, no one denies that. But his potential is huge. He’s definitely not a winger.
And he played 2C this past play in rd and was constantly matched up against Malkin, and he held his own.
I can garantie you MTL has zero interest in moving him. Especially for what is being offered here

bonino's gone next season. slide haula up and move kk to center. he's a good 3c but not ready for 2c.

Couldn't have said it better myself. This team struggles to get goals from the forwards. If $9M goes to any one UFA, it better be Taylor Hall.

yes. the one that got demoted to the ahl. that one. kk without a doubt will be better than bonino but it won't be next season.

That was several months ago. He’s been much better since returning. Anyways it doesn’t matter that trade sucks

Got to the AHL, was a point per game, comes back in qualifiers and does great at 2C.
