I've always liked the idea of getting Lyubushkin and I like that trade. I don't think Zadorov would be a great player to play with Rielly (he's not a great defender).

Nothing about a rental goalie coming off a mediocre season returning a top 20 pick in a stacked draft is realistic

I wouldn’t do that oilers deal. Maybe a year ago but I really did like what jj brought to Edmonton this year and has been great on pk.

Moving Anderson is going to require a sweetener not getting a 1st. Lame duck goalies with that playoff resume will require a +

What? He's a career .915 goalie with a year left on his contract. You really think that needs a sweetener? are you high?

TOR adds a little more to Zadorov trade

I agree. Toronto would probably need to add a little more, but seeing as that pick is #44 in this draft I don't think it would need to be a 3rd as per the usual 2nd + 3rd ask. TOR 2020 2nd + 4th/prospect would probably suffice.

OK if he is so great then why is Toronto not resigning him with his fistful of Stanley Cup rings?
