Thing is the more people try the more annoyed it’s going to make rangers fans and a lot of the offers are on the insulting side so even if you come up with a decent trade your likely to get blasted for it. Every bad suggestion they see is just going to add to the asking price. By the end of the day they might be asking for the bell centre.

MTL would be trading from 2 positions of need to acquire a player that plays a position they are stacked at. Just because he's French Canadian. Silly and not worth it.

Rangers would be thrilled to have this return though. They get two high end players that fill two of their biggest needs. 2C and LD. As well as a top 20 draft pick.
The fact that the Rangers are stacked at LW would make this very reasonable.
