Arizona easily does this deal, while the Hawks should not. Keller can't hold Kane's jock strap, it's more like Keller being the eventual replacement for Saad (his numbers are similar) versus Kane. Being such a huge Nylander fan, surprised you don't think he's going to carry the torch after Kane passes it along! smile

I think I've brought up some valid concerns in my reasoning to Hatter. If you don't think Keller is as good as Kane, fine... Neither do I. I would however say he would immediately be the second best RW we have, and I’m not sure who replaces Kane when he does eventually slow down. It won’t be Nylander, for obvious reasons.

Also...

You really like to grab that low hanging fruit don't you? It's getting to level of the Bart Simpson ”Say the line bart” meme with you. Everyone gets it, I like Nylander, I even have Nylander Apologist as my user title.

I think Keller is more inline to replace the production of Saad if we lose Saad.

Keller
19/20 - on pace for 20g, 51p
18/19 - 14g, 47p

Saad
19/20 - on pace for 30g, 47p
18/19 - 23g, 47p

Debrincat
19/20 - on pace for 21g, 53p
18/19 - 41g, 76p

Cat is the better player with better upside. Keller compares more to Saad without being as good as Saad defensively. I do think Keller can eventually be a consistent 25 goal, 55 point player but he's not worth Cat.

Low hanging fruit but you planted the tree. smile
