You signed Byfuglien to LTIR him? Um ... ok I guess?

Other than that nonsense, the Leafs are a team that just payed Cody Ceci 4 mil to play for them. If you think Brodie is taking a close to 50% paycut to come to Toronto you need help.

Probably wouldn't blow my waud on Hoffman, no knock on Hoffman just a waste of cap space on this team

The Kings don't need a young LHD. Rebuilding teams don't trade away 2nd round picks.

Kings pass.

They do when they believe they are no longer rebuilding - Kings are realistically 2 maybe 3 pieces away from playoff hockey , and IMO a prime 2 LHD will probably cost more than LA would want to part with so Dermott for a 2nd isn't very expensive

It is, but really isn't signing another expensive forward and going cheap on defense seem like something they'd actually do?

Buff is done, the last thing the Leafs need is Hoffman and more offense, Brodie will cost at least 4. Sens would rather have 4 picks (the 2021 1st is likely to be high, good chance that pick alone is better than Nylnder lol), Florida actually has RHD so they say no, Kings don’t wanna trade a pick either (maybe if it was lower). You also forgot about Mikko Lehtonen

It's might not be expensive, but the Kings don't have any use for him. He's not an upgrade over Anderson, who is on an ELC for another 2 seasons, whereas Dermott will get a raise this year.

The Kings would be better served either packaging those 2nds to try to move up into the 1st round, or to use those 2nd round picks on wingers. Last summer, the Kings drafted Kaliyev and Fagemo with their 2nd round picks, neither of which I would trade straight up for Dermott.

If Dermott was a top-six forward, then maybe the Kings would consider it. He's not, so they won't. Don't get me wrong, Dermott is a fine player, the Kings just don't have any use for him.
