Doubt EDM is going to deplete their roster. They kind of want to keep McDavid. I hope?

Oilers already tried the Ryan Strome experiment. It didn’t work out so well for them I’d say.

Deal, for the kings. Maybe they can turn Andersson around. And if not they get yet another pick

You can ask for nuge but oilers will decline any offer just as fast as if you asked for mcdavid or Leon. Nuge truly is on the same level of importance to this team. Not to mention it seems rather obvious he’s very happy in Edmonton close to home and has a ranch nearby but anyways he’s a staple of the community. He’s insanely important both on and off ice. Klef on the other hand I absolutely think it would be a horrible mistake but MIGHT be able to twist Holland’s arm with the right offer.

In a heartbeat. Maybe a little massaging on either side.
Larson is UFA after this year. And they likely won’t resign him.
Khaira has lots of promise, but it’s been 4 or 5 years of promise..... big, skates well, heck of wristlet. How many times has he shown that in back to back periods?
JP.... meh.

The biggest thing is the cap space and expansion draft. Can’t lose the first in expansion. Trading Larsson gives us flexibility with cap this summer. Huge.

I will admit face value of that deal I think you actually didn’t do to bad with but rangers would need another add but not significant but as I already stated nuges importance goes very deep into organization so there’s really nothing can be worked out.

You should quote people you are replying to will get more replies. I think i'd easily do your deal as well but NYR have no need for Larsson, little need for Khaira.

It’s funny you go Meh over a fourth overall pick who only got a very limited opportunity on the team and played broken for a significant amount of time. He’s still got significant value league wide. This site doesn’t suggest that because people from other fan pretend they know what’s gone on and judge him on the 139 games he played without factoring in line mates or him being broken or ice time.

I get it. I was being a little facetious in my counter cause there’s no way Edmonton trades RNH. Klefbom would have to be something special .... even though he was lousy in the play in round,, he’s still the best LHD we have and he’s still got 2 years on his contact. Buys time for Broberg and Bouchard .

Just wondering why not just resign strome? He seemed to be a solid fit for you

I personally don’t think JP has the hockey IQ. Yakupov 2.0. There’s a reason Columbus passed on him. We have 1 season to trade him or have him figure it out. Else we lose him in expansion draft and have nothing to show. I’d rather have a newer first round pick. We have too many players already clueless in their own zone. Forget which analyst on radio was saying both JP and AA are lost in their end. Can’t play both in bottom 6 and hope to win.

If you want him then you sign him. At the end of the day your the gm here haha. I didn’t really care for him in Edmonton but he seems to fit in New York. They could do a lot worse I’m not sure how much better they can do. I kinda want them to take Byfield then offer strome short term deal taking him straight to ufa kinda just doing the player a solid there. I think that would complete an amazing top 6 for along time without needing to make any other changes and can just worry about filling out other spots on roster
