Islanders have Barzal, Nelson, JGP and Cizikas down the middle. Where do you think Frans fits in?

Not to mention, Leddy has VALUE. He can get back a 2nd round pick or so on his own. Only combining him with an actual bad contract (Komarov) would bring the value down. To imply Frans Nielsen, who had NINE points in 60 games, having more value than Nick Leddy is hysterical.

Edit: and look at Detroit's roster. There is a reason teams use them as an example to dump contracts. They have nothing of significance right now. Being paid to take crap contracts is a smart move for Stevie Y right now

It goes both ways. Some fans over value cap and some undervalue. 1st + Bellows is more than reasonable for Boychuk.

Yah no thanks from Edmonton. I’m not paying a first for two guys that make way more than they should. A ok backup, and a 4th liner? No thanks that not even close. Plus we don’t have the cap.
