You will need to add a high pick probably 1st if Lindgren is who you are wanting to move for Dunn.

I made this beforehand. would Tarmo Reunanen and CAR first be good enough?

Rangers fan here clearly...
can Rangers afford to pay TDA long term? Fox will be up for a huge extension. Giving Trouba $8M, ADA $5-$6M, trading for Dunn and paying him $5+M... Fox will get $5-$6M soon. Thankfully he’s on ELC and Miller will be on ELC next year or the following. Rangers problems in the past was paying too many dmen too much. If the cap rises in a few seasons, it won’t matter. Zibby will be up for a Panarin like raise soon... TDA is a very good offensive dman but like Shatty was for the NYR, he was a 3rd pairing dman with offense, Trouba and Fox are both good offensively and good dmen.

If Blues trade Dunn, we’d probably want back a guy like Miller and/or Kravstov who are exempt from the ED

Blues have no interest in that. Not even sure how that's supposed to help.

NYR can't move Miller with how bad the left side is. Lindgren and a 1st doesn't work?

Assumption was NYR would trade DeAngelo down the line

Yeah idk just thought Blues could use the cap but I could add a first if that does anything

Kreider had more goals than Jost had points.

I do have a feeling if they’re gonna end up getting a top LHD, they may have to give up more than Lindgren and Carolina 1st who will most likely he in the 17-23 range unless they go deep, but Boston was the top team in regular season and that’ll be a great series.
It may be Kravtsov unfortunately. Can’t move Miller as LHD is very week. Lindgren is a 2/3 which is totally good, but Miller is projected to be a 2 and the rest of the pipeline as we have seen with Hajek and Rykov whom has had injury woes, nobody else projects to possibly be a top 4 LHD. It will be a VERY expensive defensive unit in a few seasons which is why I personally would move ADA while his value will never be higher. Rather spend the $ on a top LHD while after this season, Smith and Staal are fully off the books and shat buyout is back to $1.5M. Nils on an ELC should be here in 2 seasons. Fox will get extended at that time.

Avs accept. Really solid trade for both teams. smile

I also like what you've done here overall. Getting Cirelli would be PERFECT for New York. Zacha would be a low-key solid pickup, but I'm not sure NJ would do this trade since Zacha is cheaper than Strome and fits better at 3C.

He’s also 7 years older and on a UFA deal. Players on UFA deals very rarely have any value bc teams know that they will not want that contract down the line...
