That early second is sure appealing, love it if we could drop the retention and send Gunnarsson instead. More cap but y’all wouldn’t have to sign edmundson.

Blues will bite for that, I think. But yeah, they may try to give something like Bandit suggested to drop the retention.

You aren't getting the 38th OA pick for an expiring UFA in Allen, especially not if you aren't willing to retain on his contract
