Neither of the Stromes are worth those contracts, no need to acquire both. Cozens will be our 3rd line center. Ryan Strome will be cheaper to acquire so I'd say just go after him

Hawks decline. Sabres fans have posted this deal 1000 times and the answer is the same every time

if the rangers were so eager to get rid of smith then why did they just give up a 5th if he's that easy to move.

Buffalo does not need Ryan Strome if they get Dylan Strome. I like the Calgary deal, But I would change things about the Chicago trade. Unless Maatta is required to get Strome out of Chicago I don’t want him. I would rather not give up Johansson or Johnson. You can use the Dallas picks in the other deals instead of losing Mittelstadt and Johnson. I also doubt Detroit takes That deal.

So I guess you simplify the deals. Georgiev and Smith for 2 2nd rounders. Risto to Dallas as written. Calgary deal as written. Strome for Dallas’s 2nd rounders and Pilut.

The Detroit trade is a joke, right? We won't take Smith with a 5th by itself, let alone if you make us send something back.

Hawks decline. We have zero need for Pilut. Strome alone is worth more then Middlestadt and a 2nd, Maatta is worth a 3rd or 4th. Strome and Maata for Middlestadt, the 2021 1st (top 5 protected) is close

Have to ask why NYR would accept? They have enough goalie depth to move AG without having to get one back, and they would need an NHL LHD ready now player even if just a solid shut down 3rd pair.

to be fair - with how well things are going in DET right now, isn't just about anyone welcome?
Smith would be DET's 2nd best RD, unless you guys are running the Bulldog Beiga in your top 4?

Google this name: jimmy Devellano thats who he pissed off and the reason he won't be back to the Wings. Maybe next time you will look into something before you go telling someone else what they should do?

Smith would be 4th best Hronek, Seider and Lindstrom. Won't put up points but he is a lot more responsible defensively than Smith is and he doesn't take stupid penalties or try to fight =every on who looks at him funny.

haha - you are an angry one. don't be so sensitive...
the point is that Detroit should take everyone and anyone they can if it returns an asset.

Not angry at all but at the same time you don't be an a hole. There are a bunch of ways you could have worded that but you that wouldn't have been so abrasive. I was saying Smith won't be coming back to Detroit and it has nothing to do with his play or my opinion. He really pissed off the wrong person.
