That trade is a joke, Lias as everyone knows cant skate in the NHL. Give it up already. You want him you have to offer something good like Kakko

I truly do respect you for showing the kid some love it becomes absolutely painful seeing some comments about him on here. Truly is an extremely talent brilliant skater has a hard heavy shot great build for his age. When he’s not broken his endurance level is rather remarkable. I find it impossible not to like him. Always a massive smile on his face maybe not final year in Edmonton but wasn’t exactly a good situation going on then. I loved watching him skate down the ice and look like picking nose with his tongue he’s just an awesome kid. Thank you for showing him the respect

he doesnt want to sign with the oilers my man, you arent getting anything top end for a player who dosent want to be on the Oilers, they dont have trade leverage

Both first seasons were very similar in stats. Both have pedigree. Oilers do NOT want to trade him as we know he is going to be awesome, so there will be an overpayment for a team that wants to aquire him. We want to keep him and play with McDaddy on our week right side.

oh you mean what Elliotte Friedman just said in 31 thoughts that Oilers thought they were close to a deal but the Player feels completely differently still.
I guess you havent been watching the news lately

6. On Jesse Puljujarvi, it sounds like the Oilers thought a signing was close, the player not so much. We will see where this goes. A trade is still possible.

As soon as the Rangers won the lotto I wondered if they immediately started regretting that big Kreider extension. I thought it was a bit of an overpay when it was signed, despite him being a very good player. But with a NMC will he ever willingly leave New York?

He already played with McDavid and hasn´t produced. And like Anderson he has had a productive year in Sweden. What would make Puljujarvi valuable. He is a big risk for every team who trades for him and bc if that nobody gives you guys like Kakko,...

Avs accept, good trade smile

@Stanley_Cup_To_Manhattan Just out of curiosity, would you be willing to retain a little bit on Kreider, say $500k, if Colorado throws in an extra pick/prospect?

I’m not saying Kakko that is a going a bit too far but let’s pump the breaks on he already played with mcdavid. Anytime he got with mcdavid was EXTREMELY limited and actually did produce rather well in that EXTREMELY limited time. His most common almost exclusive line mate was lucic who in Edmonton absolutely crippled every single persons production he played with including mcdavid nuge Leon ebs. First and prospect is the ask and is actually reasonable one to stick to.

the NMC doesn't kick in until October I believe. if so we can move him to the 20 teams he didn't block a move too on his MNTC

I like how there is no context to that. No reason suggesting why. It seems just as possible he isn’t willing to commit to any team until next years schedule is released and know when he would be coming over to North America. If I was in his position that’s how I’d be thinking....

I think it provides more context then what some of the Edmonton media guys were pumping out there about how he could come back.
JP isnt close to singing, not saying he wont but its not the dramatic shift in his stance about coming back to the Oilers that some guys were making it out to be. As of now He isnt close to committing to singing a deal to come back, yet or maybe never. However with Friedman saying a trade still could be possible I think that highlights how there is still a divide bw the 2.
