Kings would probably consider swapping Moore for Clifford. No interest in Engvall though.

If COL misses out on Hall and cant bring back Namestnikov, maybe Kapanen becomes of interest

I'm aware. The Kings are interested in re-signing him, and Moore would be expendable if the Kings could get Clifford back. Moore for Clifford's signing rights.

Zadorov plays his off-side quite often, so that's not a problem.

On the top pairing with Reilly though, maybe not the best idea.

Avs accept. Kapanen's speed would be a great asset, especially on the PK.

If we can resign Namestnikov at $3.2m (Kapanen's caphit) with reasonable term then yeah I'd go for that too. But if not then Kapanen would be an excellent fit.

Which is why its a double whammy. Dermott plays his off side sometimes too, and hes not bad at it, just worse than regular. Put him on the top pairing and it exacerbates the issue exponentially

I’d like to know how Colorado is going to sign both Hall and Namestnikov.

The D-lines is hardly the point, you can rearrange that how you like. Could role out:
Reilly-Gudas
Muzzin-Holl
Dermott-Zadorov

Point is, I don't think we are going to be super happy with the player that ends us with Reilly on "top" pairing, but this would be a lot more solid defensively than pervious years.

Maybe you didnt see what I wrote. I said disregard the actual pairings, you can move them how you like. Leafs need defence that are better defensively and more physical. I also thought we were at the point on this website where we didnt automatically assume 3rd def pairing = 10 mins of ice time.

It depends on what AAV Hall will be asking for. Theoretically we could sign both, but we'd likely have to trade one of Compher/Donskoi to fit Namestnikov in.

Quite easily actually.
Filter searches for COL AGMs and I’m sure there’s 5+ scenarios were COL can secure both Hall and Namestnikov.

Typically revolves around moving out Zadorov and one of Compher/Donskoi
