This is the only way Ottawa trades to 1OA. They wil lnot give up 3OA because they need a center.

Deal will have to be focused around 5OA, getting NYR cheap players that can play in NHL now to help push for playoffs next year. They also take tow massive cap hits off their books.

At 5OA they can get Rossi who might be the most NHL ready prospect. They also get Conor Brown and logan Brown who will both be able to contribute in the NHL next year at a very low cap hit each.

I still am not sure if this is a good trade for either side but it is better than the 3OA+5Oa trades everywhere. I think Ott is over paying if anything becuase of the cap hits taken back

Flip Staal and Lundqvist as well, the more cap dumps the more realistic
