I wouldn't even be mad if this happened. All this team needs are Galchenyuk and Ho-Sang.

So VGK gives up a first to dump Statsny + MAF and then you proceed to flip Statsny for a first. So you think it would take 2x first round picks to dump MAF? You also take a bunch of cap from STL and then at the same time OS one of their players?

If they were signed and could be dumped for picks, I’d try!

Yeah flushed with picks! I really believe some version of some of these deals will happen, of course not all.
Time will tell.
Hoping ownership has given Stevie Y the monetary green light to purchase any draft picks he can get.
We are blessed with great ownership, but the revenue debacle has me worried money will be tight even with all our cap space.

The point was.. Vegas spends the 1st rd pick to clear 8.5 mil year 1 and 7 mil year 2
STL spends 1st rd pick to clear 10.75 mil which is needed to resign Pietrangelo and others. Dunn will get an offer sheet like that. Why not from DET. Or include him in the deal and perhaps take out the 1st
It’s not that unrealistic

Several trades, you expect too much. And Dunn probably isn't signing that short term deal to come to Detroit.

Then you didn’t read the description.
And the term for Dunn was meant to get him closer to a next contact. So he can get paid again at a higher amount and maximize the amount of contacts.

I read it. You're right, they need a lot of adjustment.

This Dunn deal would keep him leave him one year short of qualifying for UFA status, so to sum up he'd have short security and switch from a Cup contender where he fits for the worst team AND have less freedom at the end of the deal. It's not as enticing to him as you think.
