That deal is real bad for the Islanders Mayfield for Kapanen 1 for 1 is closer to correct value but not something the Islanders should do either. Mayfield plays over 20 minutes a night and PKs. He has a great contract the Islanders will need to stay compliant.

Why did Ian Scott not play during the 2019-2020 season?

Isles decline, but you have the right idea going on here. Not sure I'd sign Brassard when Kerfoot looked slick at 3C in the playoffs and exhibition vs the habs, and there's likely a cheaper UFA signing (i.e. Ennis) or promotion from within (i.e. Brooks?) that you could get going on, as well as Barabanov who is super skilled and coming over from Russia.

I think the approximate values on these trades are good though, and team needs are met! Seems cool to me.

He's developing. Looks like a good goalie prospect though.

That doesn't answer the question. He has no stats from 2019-2020 -- do you know why that is? It doesn't look like he played at all...

To me, this seems like your fishing for magic beans, there was no need to completely replace the right side, and Dubas already said that they’re not dealing any of the big money/core players, so that Nylander trade can’t happen

From a Blues perspective, that group brings nothing. Bracco = Ty Rattie part two. Dermott would simple take up a roster spot for Perunovich and Mikkola. Lindgren is simply a RH possession defenseman who likely plays number 6 or 7 minutes on a team that doesn't have the depth the Blues do. I think Barbashev could be had, but not with the group you offered. Husso is a wild card. I'm not sure Armstrong knows what he wants to do with Husso let alone the rest of us Blues fans.
