Trades
1.
TOR
  1. Murphy, Connor
  2. Strome, Dylan [RFA Rights]
  3. 2020 1st round pick (CHI)
Additional Details:
In my opinion. I’d be surprised if Chicago does this, because of Murphy. But who knows. Dermott would probably slot in in 2D, Nylander would be on the Nylander line
CHI
  1. Dermott, Travis [RFA Rights]
  2. Nylander, William
Additional Details:
Strome would likely soot in at 3C, shoving Kerfoot out to 3LW or RW, and or Kerfoot is in this Package, which is likely the case because of cap reasons, or he’s moved somewhere else like the jets or minny
Murphy has been on Leafs fans target list for a while. And would be what Morgan Reilly needs.

The 1st would be interesting. But if Braden Schneider survives the pick of Florida. They should take him, seems to be a TWD on Brandon, if not Justin Barron, if his injury problems go away
2.
TOR
  1. 2020 5th round pick (OTT)
  2. 2021 7th round pick (SJS)

The Hawks win this deal in a landslide. Strome is not worth much, Murphy is really good but he's not anything close to Nylander in value, same with the 1st. The best asset is Nylander by a wide margin then the 1st, then Murphy then Dermott.

A, Hawks are a semi rebuilding team, they would probably want to keep the pick
B, Murphy is the hawks Best RHD, unless Boqvist makes a good leap he’s there best RHD,
And Chicago doesn’t need a another forward,

Yeah and a 24 year old elite offensive player definitely doesn't help a team at all. On any other team Nylander would be worth a pile of assets but of course because he's on TO he is worth a bunch od middling assets or secondary assets. Quality over quantity is something people on here say all the time and then **** is posted.

Strome, Murphy and a 3rd for Nylander is even on paper. Dermott is useless to the Hawks, he'd be a 3rd pairing and blocking the development of Carlsson, Beaudin in Vlasic in another year or two.

"Strome is not worth much" LMAO...Strome is a huge upgrade to Kerfoot and also can slot into the 2C as needed and allow JT to jump up on the LW in certain situations during a game. Kerfoot can't hold Strome's jockstrap and yet Strome at 23 years old is younger, cost controlled and on a 3 year bridge slightly costing slightly more then Kerfoot and an RFA at 26 years old. Strome is worth a 1st and decent prospect in the free market, Kerfoot is not worth more then a 3rd round pick comparably...so yes, Strome IS worth something.
