Description

There is no doubt it was the last season for Turris in Nashville.
And I think, that Preds should try to avoid that "buyout Turris contact" scenario. It is so terrible to have -2 million cap space for the next 8 years.
He is not THAT bad. Look at his ice time/situation and what he produces (points per game).
Trade with retaining, trade for another "bad" contract, something else. But not buyout...

P.S If you still think he and his contact - terrible. Just look at Hayes. No one calls him or his contact - terrible right now, but what we have?

Turris playing for one of the worst team in the league this season. With one of the worst PP. Where everyone player struggles with mental or another problems in this season(except Josi, he is a god).

It is all about the atmosphere and the team. After that 5:6 loss to Calgary, NSH began their degradation in all aspects.
So, PLEASE, stop writing that his contract is SO BAD. It is not truth.

P.S.P.S Preds will not trade their 1st (especially 11th OA) to get rid of Turris.

Except us. I really like that Turris for Zucc trade. It all depends if Zucc would want to waive his NMC

He is still a solid 2nd line center. I think he absolutely worth 5m(yes, likely NSH should retain 1m). He will score that 50 points every next season(if he will be healthy).
He was the first-line center with Hoffman and Stone in Ottawa when they reach Eastern conference final. He is a good guy, and good hockey player. However, unfortunately - NSH is not his team.

Will see. I think he will be 45-55 points scoreer in next season(if he will be healthy). He just needs the team that needs him.

I think the Jackets trade is at least plausible. The usual objection to Wennberg-for-Turris is the relative contract impacts, but the picks and slight retention help compensate for that. It's just a question of whether or not Turris is willing to elevate his game with Torts.
