No, why would we trade Mitts and 3x6mil in Okposo for one year of another goalie and 4x6mil in Zucc?

Okposo is a very good 4th liner.

I think that's a great trade actually, Dubnyk could be a great goalie for Buffalo, one that they have been looking for and Zucc could have a monster year playing with Eichel!

Minnesota takes a chance with Mittelstadt but I think it's worth the risk!

Okposo is playing well for Buffalo and is a leader in the lucker room, we won't trade our second best prospect for an even worst contract

Zuccarello would probably play on the 2nd or maybe the 3rd line in Buffalo, but everybody loves those excellent 6million 4th line players.

Zucc is better than Okposo but being at the same age and same salary with one more year makes it untenable to me.

If you want Mitts, you'll need to trade an asset who won't be gone in 1 year like Dubnyk would be. You don't gain success trading former 1sts for rental goalies for a singular year.

I think so too. He had one down year really, but he had a very good save percentage in the 6 years before that.

Buffalo only has one goalie signed and he would be cheap with the Wild taking half of it. I'd only trade him because I am a believer in Kähkönen

A much more realistic trade involves Buffalo getting Donato as part of this deal.

If we take him I hope I end up regretting saying this, but I really don't want Lundell.

I'd like Mitts but I think BUF would want a young player like Donato or Greenway.

why? I am impressed by Lundell. He is not spectacular or so, but he is very, very solid.

Also, he was named "A" on his team, which is like the youngest "A" in the Liiga history or so, so I assume he could be a good leader in the future

Just didn't like his game watching him. He's great defensively, but offensively I didn't see much at all that had me impressed. Yes, he scored, but I really don't know how after watching the few games I saw of him. Right now I view him as a 3C with not much more upside than that and that's not a guy worth taking 9th overall in this draft.

I still love Mitts and have no desire to move him. Although I love the story of two Minnesota born players who could use a change of scenery coming to their home state.

It feels like a good quarter of the league is from Minnesota, doesn't mean we want them all.

If you ever wonder why we're called the *state of hockey*, it's because the hockey culture here runs so deep that the local state hockey tournaments run like and are as popular as NCAA March Madness. We also produce the largest number of NHL caliber players in the country. We eat, breath, and sleep hockey 24/7 365 1/2.

I always have to shake my head whenever someone wants to argue or insult us about it, with a "But, they've never one a cup!'

That ain't why.... *genius*.
