He usually does but it’s proven he can play without Jack. Skinner needs Eichel more than Reinhart.

if samson ends up getting a FAT contract then he’s playing with jack. the sabres aren’t going to risk having another big contract bust like skinner.

Yeah he played with Sobotka, Lazar, Frolik, Sheary not the best line mates.

Thats a cool chart until we look at the his numbers. specifically for 19-20 because its easiest to access. Per your article, away from Eichel, Reinhart had 2.34 points per 60 minutes away from Eichel 5v5. Reinhart had 2 points away from Eichel 5v5 last year: https://frozenpool.dobbersports.com/players/Sam-Reinhart. That means he played less than 60 minutes away from Eichel, that data should be completely invalidated but is left in there because it best proves his narrative. 18-19: His best producing season - 1.75 PP60 away from Eichel - 9 points total away from Eichel, which meant he spent a lot more time without him, but again the numbers are skewed due to an overwhelming amount of TOI with Eichel. 2017-18 is the only decent metric we have, and Reinhart scored 24 points away from Eichel out of his 50, but the majority of those points came with ROR. So as I said, we have no realistic view of his production away from Eichel and we have nothing that says Reinhart can carry a line.

You put Sam at center at the start than you can transition him back to the wing until Cozens or Mittlestadt are ready to take his spot.

No, because we have a ton of centers. He had a grand total of 1 faceoff taken in 9 games. And much better suited as a winger because of his speed.
