That’s some definite madness. Honestly I’m not sure Buffalo could afford Sergachev when they have to pay Dahlin and Jokiharju in a year.

I just made the buffalo side of this. They can definitely make it work with some finagaling for the next few years.

I feel like some team will give you good value for TyJo but by all means if you want to give Ottawa the #8 pick go right ahead

So you saved 1.25 million dollars by getting Brown and trading Johnson but you dropped 10+ spots in the draft. That's not worth it at all. Rossi or Perfetti very well may be available at 8th

Also dropped 4 years in age. Brown in a solid player and getting into his prime. Could compliment Tampa quite well. Maybe not be a bad trade for both teams.

TBL doesnt need to trade away contracts like Johnson if they dont have the pressure to resign Sergachev and Cirelli
