I'd say you're close on both. Probably have to add a guy like Brett Howden to the Anaheim deal though. The Edmonton idea is pretty intriguing, might be a slight overpayment but you're right in the ballpark

I don't think so. Anaheim should accept the deal as it is.

Carolina pick could be a late one. Strome's numbers were inflated from playing with Panarin. Those 2 things aren't highly attractive for a guy as underrated as Lindholm. Gotta add a bit more

The Anaheim deal is good, the Oilers deal is fair but the Oilers don't need a RHD and they should definitely be trying to extend RNH.

DeAngelo is juicy, but a better offer would be...
RNH for Buchnevich+Lemieux.

Would Georgiev be a better fit for EDM? What if the trades were swapped and it was Georgiev, Strome, CAR pick and Lias?

I also don't think they should keep Strome. Just flip him to someone. This team needs to rebuild, but still has valuable assets. And did you check out Lundkvist? He is really good.

Thats were Nils comes in, hes one of the top D prospects we have... debatably one of the top ones in the world. Strome is a toss in as Bombay said, Anaheim can either sign him for the rebuild or trade him for more assets.

Believe me, there isn't many prospects I don't know about. & acquiring Strome just to flip him doesn't change anything. They still need to get proper value outta the original deal, then flipping him just adds more to it.

What about Hampus for DeAngelo + a pick?

Anaheim declines. That's a lateral move. If they're committed to the rebuild they'll want the younger assets

2 pieces the Oilers don’t need and a mid round pick for RNH. Oilers pass. Theres really zero interest in reading RNH. Zero. Especially when it doesn’t fill any holes.

nah not really, I'd do that trade there, and adding Howden does nothing for ANA, who is he gonna play over, Getz, def no, Steel, no, Rico, unless he's moved def no, imo Zegras is ready, but if not ig he could be the 4C, but apparently the Ducks told Backes he would play, plus the rags def value Howden like more than a 4C that likely will never move up

At a quick glance of their roster looked like they had a need for a RD, didnt realize that kid Bear was legit.

Im just gonna wait for Sather to put down the cigar, pull out his little black book of dirt and call a GM with a trade.

I’d accept if I were Anaheim. Solid trade
