Yes, for the Winnipeg part you are definitely asking for too much.

I think WPG wins big in a 1 for 1, should I just remove the condition to upgrade to a first? Make the condition harder? Make the pick a conditional third?

There is no chance the Jets would give you 2 first round picks for Strome. You would need to keep the pick as a 2nd with no conditions to go to a first and pick a Jets prospect not named Heinola or Samberg to go with it. I know that's not what you want to hear, but Strome is looking for a new pricey contract and I'm not sure he's good enough defensively and skating wise for our 2C.

Oh so you want strome for only a second round pick and not a top prospect? I don't think something can be worked out then. It would be imperative that we get a top defenseman/ defensive prospect in the deal.

I don't think Strome is going to get anything more than a 4x3. I'm my opinion it isn't too pricey.

Fair value for the Hawks - Caps trade but there's no way the Caps wait around the first 20 games of the season to see if they do or don't get Connor Murphy. How are they to plan their defensive lineup for the 20-21 season if it's dependent on Ian Mitchell's NHL ability?

I understand. I think Strome is okay, just not our perfect 2C, which is why I wouldn't want to give up high end picks or prospects.

The trade wouldn't be like pre agreed to, but let's say Mitchell comes in and lights the world on fire in his first 10 games? Yeah we would do it then.

Really like the turris concept. Wonder if nsh would consider tho as turris has way more upside than seabs

This guy windjammer is over the top with devaluing other teams players. Even a couple Jets fans said so.

I wouldn’t mind Strome at all, but our defence is obviously very bad. We have a bunch of d prospects but Heinola is the best one and has #1 potential but will likely be a very good #2 defenceman. I don’t think we can afford to give him up. Realistically, building a trade around Roslovic or Vesalainen probably makes more sense
