In all honesty I don’t care if Willie puts up 90 points next year. That guy has no heart, No drive and not a care in the world. Just watch game 5 at 11:05 left in the 3rd period and tell me you wouldn’t atleast take a shot to retain Nurse. Willie walks at the end of this contract too. He will be all about the money.

Absolutely nonsense to include Kelser to any trade. Give Johnsson away if you want, but adding Kelser makes no sense for Leafs or NMC Kesler Don't want Brodie for five years.

It would make more sense to trade Johnsson to a team that needs him instead of taking Kesler, leafs could easily trade him for a few picks like a 3rd and 4th or 2nd and 5th. He's a solid player who does have some value, he just didn't have the time to produce this season due to his knee surgery.

No doubt he has value but I would rather keep kapanen and kerfoot. 1 of the 3 gotta go. The extra cap space is worth its weight in gold

Yeah, the Leafs defence under Keefe was better than Edmonton's. Also Rielly and Muzzin are better than anything you have.

Nylander at 6.9 is a pretty good deal, so it'd be a mistake to move him. Second, I didn't watch the Chicago/Edmonton series much but I heard from many Oilers fans that Nurse played pretty bad, so I really don't think he solves our problems especially considering Edmonton's defense was just as bad if not worse than ours.

Okay, and over the length of Keefe's time as coach it was 17th and the Oilers at 5v5 were terrible. It's a fact. Was there a plus player on your team? I am not trying to bash the Oilers, I very much want them to be great. I just don't think understand their problems fully and also aren't willing to address it even if they did. I think what they will do is find what they can and hope their big two win them series on their own. They need a lot of support they don't have to make that happen.

He's good yeah, they have a couple pieces but need several upgrades up front and on the Blueline. I think it's going to be a while before Edmonton is corrected
