MTL doesnt want anything to do with Gardiner and hopefully, him neither. Nobody will get near that contract meaning that youre stucked with him. Congrats

Still can’t believe that the Panthers traded Trocheck for a bag of peanuts and Erik Haula

Buffalo probably wants McGinn more than Florida and Florida would want Dzingel more than McGinn.

Too much for Lehner

Gardiner has a no Canada trade clause, or at least that is understanding of his 7 teams.

Did you have to bring Toronto in? Don’t need to start that debate.

That’s what I keep saying. But people are convinced that Pesce is worth Nylander.

First off, I feel terrible for Svech. Hope it wasn't as bad as it looked. 2nd I hope CAR plays with a little more intensity next game. As for the trades...the price is right for Vegas, they just need to figure out what they're doing with Lehner/MAF. MTL doesn't really want Gardiner. They should allow Romanov time to develop. I really don't think CAR should trade for Nylander. I could see KK helping, but turbo isn't exactly a tough customer and Nylander is a weak/softy. I dont see him helping this team in the playoffs. Svech is exactly what they need. Hes great. Just a shame hes hurt.

Really? .. good luck signing Hamilton and Svechnikov next offseason with this kinda roster. Not to mention Necas the year after. You can pretty much kiss at least 1 of them goodbye after these kinda moves. Lmao.

Nylander is worth a Pesce. Top two defensemen's are rare to find than a top 6 forward.

I mean, it was against the guy who did these trades, not you. I was just 100% on the same thinking as you

Pesce isn't a top 2 guy. He's a 3-4 guy. Doesn't have the offence in his game to be a top 2

Would you do.
Dzingel, Ryan and Skjei, Brady for 2020 2nd.
I think both of them have played well in the playoffs and would fill two of the holes in the Sabres line up.
BTW, I am very disappointed that you and I got into a lengthy food fight.
I react very badly when I see comments that (while maybe meant to be an exaggeration) are totally false.

That would be a hard trade to say no to. However, I expect a lot of teams will spend well beneath the cap at least next season, because everyone is bleeding money. Realistically buffalo might have to send money back in light of that fact.

I figure all of these picks 2020 5th round pick (BUF), 2020 2nd round pick (WPG) and 2021 3rd round pick (WPG) are less than Buffalo's 2020 2nd.
Skjei would most likely be Buffalo 2nd LHD and Dzingel our third center.
I put together several Buffalo teams with just their roster players and not signing ANY UFA's and they would have about $8,000,000 space.
I am off to a see my grand daughter in a musical, but I will make up a team with them and I think we can fit them under the cap with out sending any one.
