We don't want Butcher. Be careful with Simon. We should be able to get more for Murphy. MIN is going to want more.

What in the blue hell is that PIT trade? We are downgrading Nylander to Simon and selling Carlsson for two late round picks?

I also don’t like moving Murphy to a division rival, and for that return it’s even more MEH.

Why? This post season, Maatta has been our best defenceman.

I don't think it is a downgrade. Nylander is crap

Obviously not an opinion based on a solid foundation. But you are entitled to it.

Very untrue. Kieth has been the best followed by Murphy. Just because maata has 3 goals doesn't mean he's been our best defenseman. Maata is one of the slowest players in the league, and in a league that is built around speed that doesn't cut it. Kieth, Murphy, and Dehaan have all been better than maata

He had 26 points. He sucks defensively. On a team that was bad defensively before he got here, he is a terrible piece for this team. Especially considering what we have up for him.

Jokiharju was not a defensive defenseman.

I dont care, he is one of the only players in the NHL that can slow down fast guys like McDavid and Mackinnon and he did it exceedingly well
