Description

I think Highmore has earned a spot on the team. If I was actually the GM I would move Nylander before Kampf but I don't think management is quite ready to move on from Nylander.

Looking at the D, I tried to imitate what Carolina did at the deadline. Load up on number 3/number 4 d men and see who's the best. With the cap space, I signed Beulieu and Merrill. None of the Dmen except maybe Mitchell and Boqvist will play 82 games. WHoever is playing best from time to time gets to stay in the lineup. If Keith has a bad game, pull him out and put in Beulieu. If Murphy has a bad game, pull him out and put in Carlsson.

Let Caggs go, now with Shaw back, and play Kampf back at 4C...he's solid defensively, then slot Highmore back to the #4LW.

Suter is unlikely to be good enough to play top 6 and nylander is definitely not good enough so far to play top line.
