Going to anaheim is a, “meh,” middle six winger with a little scoring pop. He’s 25, one year before arb eligible RFA. Basically, two seasons of team control. Then a defensively deficient puck moving D that lets just say has some polarizing off ice stuff going on that front offices tend to dislike. He can put up points, no doubt, but he’s not taking on a tough matchup ever. Then there’s a good prospect that might have issues coming to North America.

You’re getting a top pair D, and a good one for two years with retention, and a fringe top line forward for two years with retention. Take out the retention and get word that kravtsov is fluent in english and back in America and maybe this is in the ballpark.

Its not close, no matter how you try to justify it.

its a top pairing D man and a top 6 forward for 3 uncertain players and 1 who only plays half the game.

I see it as 2 guys Anaheim is losing in 2 years anyways most likely. So they get Buch who can replace Rakell and is rfa. Cost controlled and team controlled. And trending upwards in terms of production. and younger. Tony isn't what Lindholm is defensively but that can be improved, he's also younger. And team controlled once again. The offensive ability speaks for itself. Obviously Rakell and Lindholm are more proven and complete, but two younger replacements trending upwards, as well as a top forward prospect who projects to be a top 6 player, and a 3rd rounder. And as for BCarlo Im not sure Kravtsov's English has to do with the equation lol. I just think for Anaheim who is trying to get younger this isn't "not close"

Dont get me wrong, Id love to have Hampus on this team, but they way you have it with Rakell just doest seem realistic at all.
