the only people who say Brodie is underrated are flames fans who just want attention to their player. Hes a good player but he isn't in the elite status to he league.

Trolling is deliberately trying to cause anger and hatred through stupid tactics. I'm just saying if you want to consider Brodie overrated, this is the package you'd have to expect. People think Josi and Subban are better than Brodie AINEC are delusional, even if Josi and Subban are better than Brodie (They aren't), it's not significant and Brodie is far more valuable to his team.

Flames fans say Wideman is extremely overrated, Flames fans say Russell is overrated, Flames fans know that Tkachuk wasn't the absolute right decision in the 1st round. Brodie is actually underrated if you watch him play and look at his regular and advanced stats. Brodie is overrated if you say he's top 5 (Despite his advanced stats showing the case), but he is underrated if you say Josi, Subban, etc. are better AINEC.

I agree with the OP that Brodie is very underrated. Part of that is that he plays in Calgary and part of it is that he's in Gio's shadow as well. But I'm confused by the point trying to be made with the trade package. I get that you're trying to make a point by going over the top, but why not try to make a more realistic trade proposal to show his actual value?

I've come to the conclusion that its all moot. This guy is better than that guy. Who cares? What difference does it make in the end? I could say Shayne Gostisbehere is the best defenceman in the league and that's my opinion if I wanted it to be. (It isn't)

Brodie is underrated because he isn't flashy and hasn't put up the point totals to get as much attention as others. Plan and simple.
