Does buffalo do this

Description
They need top wingers long term rather than a center (with cozens at 2c) so does this work for them? Jets move up 2 spots to draft perfetti and bring in ristolainen while the sabres get an extra 2nd, a future top 6 winger (most likely), a future top 4, and the 10th overall. So basically, Vesalainen for ristolainen and the 2nd and niku to move up.

I do believe that sabres fans will want Roslovic and I would entertain that, though I would t include anything else then. So I would do Roslovic and 10th (and maybe a mid pick like a third) for ristolainen and 7th. I see Roslovic as wheeler’s replacement.

I know they probably don’t, but just an idea I had.

Trading a top 4 dman, 8th pick for a potential bust, meh defender to move back like how many 5 spots?

I think you just have too much stuff moving. Plus Ristolainen has shown he can't handle top pair minutes and will perform terribly defensively of you expect him to. Risto is not the type of defenseman the Jets should target.

    2 spots.
Niku is already an nhl defensemen who is capable of 19+ minutes a night. There will be some major growing pains but he will be a top 4 guy.
Vesalainen is not a bust. Did you even bother to look at the moose roster? The only notable player on that team is Seth Griffith (who is likely a career ahler) and jansen harkins (who was called up in December). Additionally, Vesalainen didn’t play with either all season so there’s that. As soon as David gustavsson came in, they were scoring at a pt/gm so if that doesn’t prove his offensive ability I don’t know what will. I mean not to insult gustavsson but he had 1 pt in 22 games in the nhl and isn’t exactly known for offense. He is also a solid pker and power play demon. Sorry I went off on you about Vesalainen but people call so many prospects “busts” just because of their stats. There is so much more to hockey

Funny joke. No one is paying that much for ristolainen.

How about I take out ristolainen and one of niku/Vesalainen

I would say give up the swapping firsts idea and take out Ves and you would be close on value.

The Jets can't afford to trade a center to fill a secondary need unfortunately.

You're right... I wouldn't pay that for Risto either... But the question is, "Does Buffalo do this"... I don't think they trade Risto for less than Vesa, Niku and a 2nd.

Alright, as I said, take out Vesalainen and risto. Now do they do it?

Also most buffalo fans would be more than happy with a 2nd and one of those 2 tbh but that’s just a side thing

I mean I did say perfetti so they are both likely already gone.

Yeah but I'm holding out hope for Rossi or Raymond and I think there is a good chance at least one of them will be there.
