not sure the Jets would want Middlestadt if they get there C might need to be a winger back

Not really sure why Buffalo would move that far back in the draft and give up Mittlestadt to get a 3rd liner and a D prospect that had a hard time breaking one of the worst D-corps in the league this year.

It would have to be Asplund or Davidson on the Sabres end instead of Middlestadt. Then it would have to wait until the draft of there were 3 players the Sabres liked when their pick comes up but not one that they love then they make the deal. If there is a player that stands out as heads and shoulders above everyone else they make the pick

What is there to tempt us in this trade? Roslovic is 2 years older than mittelstadt and has had barely more success, niku will be 24 before the season starts and has 48 career games and we move back? Not at all interested

8 to 10 is not that far back especially since 8 and 9 picks are projected to be C and you get 2 players that can start and you probably draft a winger that is needed
