He has?
These moves make sense tho. Pretty realistic offseason for Blues, I think well done.

He finally scored which is the only thing that has looked good. He is a turnover machine. Luckily the Canes put him with Pesce to make him look good long enough to trade him.

Even in the games leading up to last night, he looked better than he did most of the season. He’s shooting more and hitting more. His goal last night showed what looks like new confidence by cutting to the back post hard and being an option for Thomas.

1 good game every 30 not a good rate for a 6.5M AAV per year for 7 years.

thats why im against early extensions cause sure they can come cheaper but sometimes they can come back to bite a team. If Blues waited they probs could have gave Faulk much less.

Soderberg is garbage on faceoffs, so we have no interest in him replacing Bozak.

Oh stop it. He played a very well-rounded game last night. If you can't give him credit when it's due, your criticisms don't mean much. Just sayin'.

as someone who has watched him for 8 years, one game doesnt mean much.

Okay, well if it's so insignificant then why pretend the goal was the only good thing he did? And for the record, that one game meant a helluva lot to one team. Just give him the "good game" when he earns it, it's not rocket science.

He was fine-to-good last night, and the stats (fancy and not-so-fancy) bear that out. Not the first time he's had a good game for us either. He did lead the team in giveaways, but also scored a goal and was adequate in his own end for the most part, so I'll take it.

That said, he needs to start stringing some of these good games together at some point and that is an absolutely fair criticism and one that shouldn't go away. He has not done that as a member of the Blues yet.
