Dunn would be selling himself short taking a 5 year deal. If anything, I see him taking a 3 year, to 1 year right before FA, a 4 year, taking him right to FA, or he goes long term 7 or 8 years. The latter is probably unlikely because that will put him at 30 and decrease his huge FA payday, and its unlikely the Blues want to give him a contract that takes him right to FA, so I would say a 3 year is the most likely, also give him the ability to really boost his level to obtain a maximum payout for when he hits arbitration if the Blues dont want to pay him a ton to stay
