Not bad, honestly I’d rather sign Andy Greene to a 1 year deal than sign vatanen long term. Wilde should be ready in a year.

yeah thatd be a good idea too. Roll all 3 pairings equally anyways. How much do u think Green takes? 1 year 2 mill?

Yeah Ryan Pulock is a #1 RD and is great shutdown defender, which we clearly need. Kyle Connor is good, but he gets carried by Mark Scheifele offensively and defensively he is so bad it isn’t even funny.

TOR paid a 1st to move one year of Marleau at 6mil.
Gunna cost more than Bellows and a 3rd to move two years of Boychuk at 6mil

By mid season, I’d like to see:

Pelech-dobson
Toews-mayfield
Aho-Greene

A puck moving D + stay at home on each pairing.

Greene AAV depends on if NJ wants to sign him - if they do, we have no chance. I think he wants to stay local so I think he’d sign for 1 year 1 mill.

Trading Connor would hurt, but I would do it to fill our #1RD long term with a guy that has a shot like Pulock that would match up age wise with our core. It would be hard, but I would say yes.
