I believe that Risto would be good for us. He needs a change of scenery, I think it would benefit both teams

I think Ristolainen might actually have a great year in Edmonton but I couldn’t justify making room for him cap or ice time not over what already have.
Panthers trade is the only one I’d consider for the oilers.

I would rather keep Benning than Ristolainen. Risto is a bit better but I don't put him ahead of Bear or Bouchard. So He's a 5/6 defenceman.. Benning can handle that. I would rather see Russel, To TO for Picks. Or maybe Russel, JP and Samorukov for Ehlers instead of our first pick. Laine could maybe convince his GM that JP just needs a chance. JP is a 4th overall and at times in his last year here he was playing pretty good. Maybe playing overseas has helped his confidence and attitude. TO has already been gunning for Larrson

Other than the first, nothing in that offer makes the Jets even think about moving Ehlers.

Russell is negative not risto.

I'm not saying risto a
Has a ton a
Of value but its more than this.
It would be more beneficial to buf to let risto rot on t
The bench than to take this trade

How? They trade a player who hasn’t played well for them and who doesn’t want to be there. Gain a dman back who is cheaper, a prospect, a decent round pick and a small sweetener, idk how Buffalo rejects that

Played badly? He spent one of his best seasons at Buffalo and the head coach values him too much. I don’t see how we are trading Risto this offseason unless it’s overpayment or a legit top 6 forward. Why do we even need Russell? If we are trading one of our defenders, it will be for help forward.
