Really? Even if Domi and MTL are done with one another?

Domi is staying in MTL. That’s just some Media BS. He loves it here. Fans love him. He is playing well with Drouin and KK rn. He was on the 4th line bc CJ wanted to roll 4 lines.

Honestly kaprizov is so overrated by Minny fans, this trade is refreshing

You pay us to take Bstad, not the other way around. Bstad, ZAR, and a 4th for a 7th

Nah we`ll go somewhere else then. 6 6 centers who can score don`t grow on trees. Buffalo needs secondary scoring.

Buffalo aka the team with maybe the worst centre depth in the NHL, where no free agent will go unless they grossly overpay, and are one season removed from their franchise star demanding a trade. Yeah, I think they take a gamble on Bjugs for a late pick.

Well then I guess the vast majority of hockey fans cheer for the Wild. Cause it's not unpopular opinion that he is not only the most talented prospect in the league, but also one of the, if the best non-NHLers in the world. The values of the pieces Pittsburgh is giving up basically adds up to two 2nds & a 3rd (maybe) for a potentially elite winger (Minnesota is old and doesn't have a ton of high end talent either) on an ELC. So even if the value was there (it's not even close), Minnesota would still decline because they're not doing Pittsburgh any favours because they want Pittsburgh to be as bad was possible as they have their unprotected pick. Helping clear cap for them IS a favour.

And if Minnesota were to move Kirill, they would DEMAND a 1C/potential 1C before they even took the other team's offer seriously. Because believe it or not your opinion doesn't matter when it comes to Kaprizov. Because Minnesota it's not Minnesota trading Kirill, it's you trading for Kirill. They can demand as much as they like

Minnesota also doesn't need to worry about bringing in Murray (or any NHL goalie for that matter) because of the expansion draft. They'd be paying both for him to come in and for Seattle not to take him or Kähkönen. That's not worth it.

Did i say that the trade was fair? No i didnt. But I’m saying Kril is so overrated on this site. Min fans are acting like he’s an 80 point + elite winger lock when he’s not. There’s a lot of hype around him but i just don’t see it. I could absolutely see him being a Gusev type player rather than a Panarin like what wild fans are pegging him to be. Wild aren’t going to trade him because they need to take the chance with him, but your comment saying he’s the best non NHLer is exactly why I think he’s overrated.

I see him ranked high on the prospect lists. I get that, I’m just not high on him, and minny fans overrate him even more because of his prospect ranking

Dramatic much? I don't think any Minnesota fans have actually said he's a lock to be a game changing player, we've said best case scenario is he could be Panarin 2.0 based on KHL success. He could also be a total bust, but given what it's taken to get him signed and over here there's zero reason to roll the dice unless it's an insane overpay. We want to see him in a Wild jersey and see what he actually is, not traded for spare parts or prospects with less of a chance.

Realistically? He'll probably be a 60-70 point player which for a team starved for scoring is more useful than a goalie that has 2 Cup wins he needed to split starts with Fleury to get, a 3C and a 3rd round pick.
