Despite Kadri having a good season with the Avalanche still would rather have Tavares.

That man puts his heart and soul into this teams and tries his hardest every night even when others on the team seem to give up.

While I miss Kadri, Tavares still is one of those players that just seems right for this team. Plus projections had him at 37 goals despite the fact he broke his thumb and was skating on a bad injury. Not bad

In general Kadri came at the wrong time for the leafs. Sometimes i wish he was drafted in 2013 rather than 2009

37 goals and lose in the 1st round cause he’s a one demented player but kadri can score hit fight piss off opponents and he played his heart out every game for Toronto and at a sweet 45 mill price tag

But here's the thing, Kadri kept getting his ass suspended in the playoffs. That is the main reason Dubas moved him. Not because we could not afford him, but because his temper got the better of him. 4 games into the boston series in 2018 decided to do a dangerous hit on wingels got 3 game suspension, 2019 decides due to bad officiating to take matters into his own hands and dangerously cross checks debrusk, out for the rest of the series costing the leafs. I guarantee if he was still here he would have got suspended in game 1 boarding a Columbus player.

He is doing well in Colorado but depending on the opponent he may lose his temper one game and get suspended.

He is a changed player he would of smartened up if he got warned he might be traded if he gets suspended again he would have been solid but no dubas just shipped him out because fans were mad he let fans influence him when he is supposed to be the expert getting paid millions

How is Tavares a one dimensional player? He has received selke votes for 3 straight seasons now. Finishing as high as 8th in 2017. And im pretty sure the analytics also back up the fact that he is a good 2-way centre.
