The Holl trade is probably a no, but overall these trades don't really provide any upgrade on what the leafs are missing. They'll less physical and they're bottom 6 is worse at scoring.

If you could switch the picks in the Anaheim trade, the Ducks would say Yes, but you don't have a third-rounder in this year's draft.

The idea that Justin Holl is worth the 67th overall pick in it is, to say the least, amusing.

WTF is with all these N.A.K trades as of late?
Hes an average prospect with a ceiling of two way 3rd C

I agree that he's not worth that pick. I tried to do a bit of a pick swap by adding a 5th rounder.

they are more physical - they add Bennett and Aube-Kubel, add two very good defensive defencemen, including a 22 year old top 4 D in Fabbro. The D is much better, and I'd argue that the bottom 6 is the same at scoring with Robertson coming in.

To say you have to pay a pick to move Holl is, to say the least, amusing. The guy ain't no cap dump

maybe so but hes only got a 45 game sample size, cant hang any labels on that
Why not target a guy like Nieto from COL?
His contract will be up and he will be relatively affordable, seems to be the type of guy TOR is looking for

I don't think much of Yegor to be honest, but two 3rds is a good return for NAK. (And youre giving him 2mil a year? Are you Dubas?)

He may not be a cap dump, but he's no one Anaheim is going to spend the 2020 third-rounder on. My point was that the value of the suggested exchange is way off. Holl for a fifth is right if we needed and wanted him.

If you actually needed him I think his value is right in between the two he could for sure get a fourth from a team that actually needs him, note I'm not the poster and never said Anaheim wants or needs him was simply saying that he doesn't require a pick with him to move him regardless of where he goes.
