Description
Nashville trades Bonino because the GM there wants change, he is UFA, they can't move their other C in Turris (buying him out with that cap hit is not ideal), and they retain half to balance getting Johnsson locked up (down year for him, but he can score 20 I think and would fit that team- ideally i would not trade him, but apparently moves have to be made).

The Anderson trade to the Sharks is if they want to compete next year- he would be a vast improvement over what they have had. I would just as well keep him if I'm the leafs, let him play out the year and walk, but you would bank on the goalie market being big this year, with a flat cap, so maybe you could grab a guy for your tandem at a good price.

The UFA signings are what I have seen on this site, give or take half/one million between DeMello and Talbot.

Martin signing if they have room, and he wants to come back, and because this team caters to #16's desires, and because the fan base loves toughness and the guy enables others to grow a feet... (All that tired hockey stuff).

I know Florida fans hate the undervaluing for Weegar, so I threw a bunch at this trade- is it value enough?

especially the second trade is way too much. Marchemnt has no value at all, so it is way too much.

and the first trade. I am not a fan of trading Freddie.

Sharks can't really afford to get another expensive goalie, but at that price, its hard to complain.

If the Sharks intend to compete, why trade for Andersen?
