MIN again

Created by: Marcsnack
Team: 2020-21 Pittsburgh Penguins
Initial Creation Date: Aug. 18, 2020
Published: Aug. 18, 2020
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Bjugstad-Pateryn is basically a 1 for 1 swap. With Koivu potentially retiring and Staal being up there in age, they take a chance on a hometown boy for one year. They get rid of a RD that is surplus for them. Guerin mentioned that they want a new goalie, so Murr can be their guy. They send PIT a 2nd + Greenway for Murray.

People love to sell Murray for scraps on this site. It’s gonna shock them when he gets more than what everyone was excepting

Kapanen comes to mind, but I just don't see Toronto jumping on that if they still have Andersen.

Kunin obviously comes to mind for Minnesota but he's damn near untouchable with how bare Minnesota is at right hand shot forward and I'm a firm believer that they shouldn't be trading for a goalie this off-season with the expansion draft coming up. Imo the only goalie trade Minnesota should be interested in is an overpay for Stalock.

After these 2, I blank on RHS wingers with top 6 upside

both those guys would be interesting to pit tbh. I could also see TO trading Freddy in a separate deal, as it does look like they are moving on from him based off various articles I've read.

Really? I haven't looked into the Freddie trade reasoning too much but if they are to move on from him, I think a Murray - Kapanen deal does make at least some sense

I kinda forgot about this but what about Alex Nylander? He's not exactly been Blackhawk fans favourite, so he should be easy enough to inquire about, he has potential and to my knowledge, goaltending is a massive question mark with them. Fits your request and I think Nylander would be much easier to include in Murray (or Jarry) trade than Kapanen or Kunin
