Trade JVR, he doesn't have trade protection and would easily still have some value to someone.

Giroux can play all three positions but has said he prefers the offside wing and at this point in his career he shouldn't play center unless in a pinch. Also, its not as easy to just trade JVR it would also probably be easier to have cap going back in the Gaudreau trade but like the Flyers the Flames also are tight on cap space and they Flyers still need to sign at least to dmen since they lost Myers in the trade and honestly right now I don't think he going anywhere with how he's been playing. He's a 6'5 right shot dman who can skate really well you don't normally find those laying around. I find it ironic that Calgary had him in camp and chose not to sign him and now fans want him.

Yeah missing out on Myers stings now for sure. I don't see the above trade happening anyways, I really doubt the Flyers would make big changes anyways.

Cap works, plus a LW is coming back to us in the deal. I don't know if the Flyers would deal Lindblom after everything that's happened, but it is still a business, and Johnny needs to go home. He could slide in behind Giroux on the depth chart and probably find his niche again.

Like you said I don't see the Flyers making any big changes so I don't think a trade like this would go down but the trade you proposed is more likely imo. I don't think it would be Lindblom on the move in the trade cause of everything that's gone on but something like that I think would be fair.
