I traded Sutter away....Obvs Marky the starter. Gaud will not get that much. And the Canucks in reality don't have the space to sign those two as of now. So more moves would have to happen.

VAN is not moving Virtanen and they don't need Bean since they have Hughes, Edler, Juolevi and Rathbone on the left side.

Virtanen sucks and is going to be far too expensive. Saying you don't need a guy because they already have guys worse (Juolevi, Rathbone) is shockingly stupid. Neither of those two are ready for the NHL.

We don't need him because we can fill that need, if we have to, in FA. Nothing is "shockingly stupid" here. Virtanen can be used for a cap dump, and Palmu and the pick can be used in future trades as well.
Paying Josh Leivo 2.5M is not worth it, especially considering he played 50 games this year. 1-year deal or he goes. Stetcher is pretty good, but they'll really have to consider moving pieces for a 2nd pairing RHD if they want to contend.

Juolevi can play 3rd pairing minutes I don't know what your talking about and Rathbone is probably not to far either., Virtanen is a cost controlled RFA and can play anywhere in the lineup. Why would they want to move him especially with there cap issues. VAN right wing depth is already shallow and getting rid of Virtanen your left with Boeser only, and they still have to re-sign Toffoli if possible and Levio, who might not even be the same player returning from his knee injury.

Juo got eaten alive all year in the AHL. What makes you think he can play in the NHL? Virtanen is gonna cost a lot after arbitration, and the coach doesn't like him and he's lazy. This team's main issue is defense, so adding a guy like Bean makes complete sense to me. I also have Toffoli re-signing, and signing Fast and Leivo and Mac on the right side too.

I kind of agree and have said that a lot. But he's played pretty well in the playoffs so far and a team with some cap that is making a run may take him on for a late pick. Only has one year left on his deal. Possibly wishful thinking..

Outside COL I don’t see a playoff teams who’ll take Sutter at 4M
