Given how tightly Yzerman kept the Seider pick locked down, I think we can be certain that it could be ANYONE.
We can speculate, based on the qualities Yzerman looks for, but as we're once again picking immediately after the consensus top group it could be any one of up to ~8 players.

I think the wings are taking one of Perfetti or Drysdale imo. I think Ottawa would be fine in terms of getting Raymond at 5.

haha. I think the 2nd round is very deep this year so you guys should accumulate 2nds and fill some positions. Getting out of this draft with one of Rossi/Perfetti (C) + Wallinder/Cormier (LD) + Nico Daws (G) + a couple of more wingers would be awesome

I meant more like 4OV + Rasmussen for like 5OV + Norris or something along the lines. I have Raymond ranked high so he’s who I’m pulling for.

Edit - just to add some clarity, even though Rasmussen looked great when healthy last year as 1C for GR I see him more as a winger in the NHL. He gets unwarranted flack from some posters since he didn’t come into the league and dominate but how many teenagers actually do?

Perfetti has been linked because the Devellano/Osgood connections but the same could be said about Raymond with Hakan. Sanderson is interesting as he really had a hot second half and I’d hope we’d trade back if we were interested in him. Rossi is well Rossi, I personally have him 7th on my board.
