If there was a way to do it without the retention on Trouba I’d upgrade the 2021 second to Carolina’s 2020 first. Wilson would be perfect for us and provide some much needed grit and size in our lineup.

Now way in hell the Caps trade Wilson to a division rival. I mean, there's pretty much no chance they trade him in general, but especially not to the Rangers.
