Anderson isn't signing at a discount (he feels like he already did and isn't about to do so a second time), and the Jackets don't have much need for depth project centers (we've got two or three already). So... no thanks.

Huberdeau is a solid 90 point winger, you are not getting him without 2 of your best prospects and 1 maybe 2 firsts. Try at minimum

Caulfield
Suzuki or KK

The Pens decline. They aren't moving Poulin and likely keeping the 1st rounder as well

@Viqsi ive thought about this a lot. If we get an Offer on a guy that has alleged issues with our front office. And receive a probable middle six skilled center prospect. Would we not take it. We’re not building for right now. We’re building for years to come and I’ve liked poehling in the minors. I really don’t know what Andy’s value is. It’s so hazy with the poor season and contract situation. What’s the difference if we get the pick and draft a guy with the same upside but will be ready in 4 years? But hey you never know.

You're high

No it’s logical. I’m guessing you don’t know who Huberdeau is.

I doubt the pens would do that 1 for 1. They are going to rely on Poulin as they don’t want to be a cap ceiling team next year. They want to leave about 5-7 million of wiggle room.

We've seen what Andy does in the NHL. Which is the better payoff - Andy bouncing back, or hoping that Poehling can reach his potential as a middle-6 C (of the type we've already got several of)?

Since neither another RW nor another middle-6 C is a particularly strong need per se, I'd rather go with the bigger potential payoff.
