Kerfoot isn't getting moved unless we're bringing back another C cause the Leafs have zero depth at the position.

Gudas won't be top pair and Lehtonen wont have come all this way after being the top dman outside of the NHL to sit in the pressbox.

Clifford wont be resigned

I want them to get Loughton out of Philly and maybe Kempe in LA for Johnsson and Kapanen. I feel those two type if players will be helpful for TO. Get some extra sand paper and some guys who are not afraid to go to the net.

He is not good in his own zone. Sorry champ. He's good neutral zone puck hound, but he isn't physical enough to help the defense out in his own zone.

He is good in his own zone, zippy. He isnt Bergeron or anything, but hes good there. And physicality isnt needed when you just take the puck off people.

With the cap hit Kerfoot carries, plus the cap hit/injury history of Johnsson, Idk if you could convince anyone in today's NHL to give up a 2nd rd pick. Everyone's got their wallets strapped shut.

There are many teams that need to improve and there are very little players like Johnsson and Kapanen will be good add since they are relatively cheap, fast and offer offence which is always a premium. Teams with actual cap issues like the Islanders and Tampa in trouble since the depth they need to move is more expensive, older and they need even more space to fit their young guys.

Leafs need competitors on their team instead of guys who just want to get through another year and get another big signing bonus on July 1

I don't think money driving these guys as much as people think. I agree we need competitors though. I want guys who can play and add some sandpaper. Loughton type guys in the bottom 6.
